Zingen is gezond en houdt je jong! Rockkoor Let’s Rock is het stoerste koor van Waterland en zingt (4-stemmig) nummers van de meest uiteenlopende rockbands, Bon Jovi, The Doors, Alice Cooper, Heart, Green Day en Di-Rect. Het koor bestaat momenteel uit 60 enthousiaste leden en staat onder leiding van dirigent Peter Wagenaar. Hij verzorgt de arrangementen voor koor en begeleidingsband . Het koor repeteert in Neck en treedt dus op met een eigen liveband. Met volle vreugde willen we mededelen dat wij als Ayasofya Moskee zijnde de reserveringsovereenkomst voor een nieuwbouw moskee met de gemeente Arnhem hebben ondertekend. Na 20 jaar inspanning lijkt het erop dat we met de wil van Allah er in zullen slagen met het realiseren van onze nieuwe moskee. Elhamdullillah, zijn we weer een stap dichterbij richting een moskee met minaret in onze mooie stad Arnhem. Zoals je kunt begrijpen hebben we donaties van iedereen hard nodig om dit project te kunnen verwezenlijken. Hiervoor vragen wij namens de Ayasofya Moskee om jullie steun. Je zou denken dat we in Nederland goed omgaan met huisdieren. Toch hebben veel huisdieren een afschuwelijk leven. Ze worden gedumpt, mishandeld, verwaarloosd of ze worden zo doorgefokt dat ze ziektes krijgen en pijn lijden. Andere huisdieren kwijnen weg door eenzaamheid of ze krijgen niet de zorg die ze nodig hebben. De Sophia-Vereeniging komt op voor deze dieren. Al sinds 1867 zetten wij ons in voor betere dierenbeschermende wetten en strenge controles. Ook is goede voorlichting hard nodig, zodat huisdieren zorgvuldig worden aangeschaft en er beter voor ze wordt gezorgd. Help jij mee om deze dieren het leven te geven dat ze verdienen?

Stichting Opvang Konijnenparadijs is een konijnenopvang in het onderste puntje van Friesland. Wij vangen konijnen op die worden afgestaan door particulieren, maar ook konijnen die zijn gedumpt. Helaas komt dit laatste nog erg vaak voor. We herplaatsen konijnen door ze te koppelen aan een maatje en een voorwaarde is een ruim en veilig verblijf, waar de konijnen naar hartelust kunnen rennen en springen. We vangen op elk moment +/- 80 konijnen op en hebben een lange wachtlijst, mensen willen helaas graag van hun konijnen af. Om al deze konijnen van zorg te voorzien, werken we met een groot team vrijwilligers en 2 vaste medewerkers 24/7 heel hard. We zijn volledig afhankelijk van donaties.

Wij zijn een vereniging met meer dan 800 leden waar verschillende takken van de gym‐ en turnsport worden beoefend. Naast turnen op alle niveaus en voor alle leeftijden, (van peuters tot en met volwassenen) bieden wij de mogelijkheid om een trainers- en/of jury diploma te behalen. We hebben een eigen turnhal aan de Bongerdstraat in Almere voor wedstrijd-turners , de recreatie-trainingen worden gegeven in verschillende locaties in de stad. Op die manier kan er altijd in de eigen buurt getraind worden.

B.C. Oude Gracht is een bridgevereniging waar sociaal contact een grote rol speelt. (Wedstrijd)bridge is voor ons het middel om de hersenen te (blijven) trainen, mensen (uit de wijk) te ontmoeten en met elkaar, onder de vlag van de NBB en de daarbij behorende regels, de ‘bridge-degens’ te kruisen. Via het Empowerment Pack Programma bereikt To Be Worldwide (al 20 jaar actief in Ghana) nu ook kinderen buiten het Educatief Centrum in Takoradi. Met bewezen educatieve materialen(zoals mini loco) wil de organisatie kinderen inspireren, motiveren en essentiële vaardigheden helpen ontwikkelen. De Empowerment packs worden gebracht naar gemeenschappen op 30 minuten afstand, waar kinderen anders geen toegang hebben tot het Centrum. Zo profiteren ook zij van gelijke kansen. De gemeenschappen die we benaderen worden geselecteerd op afstand en bestaande contacten, waarbij de aanwezigheid van alumni een groot voordeel is. Stichting Pippi's Opvang is een dierenopvangcentrum op Curaçao dat zich inzet voor het redden en verzorgen van kwetsbare dieren, waaronder gewonde, oude, chronisch zieke en gehandicapte dieren met gedragsproblemen. Pippi's Opvang biedt deze dieren een veilige en liefdevolle omgeving waar ze kunnen herstellen en, indien mogelijk, herplaatst worden. De stichting draait volledig op vrijwilligers en donaties.
