Jong Actief was founded by and for young people. Jong Actief focuses on developing skills and talents of young people. The goal is to make young people self-reliant in today's society. Much of this is learned from and supported by peers.
Jong Actief's mission is to provide a place where every young person gets the (new) chance to develop until self-reliance in society is achieved. Especially young people who experience problems in their private situation are at the heart of Jong Actief. Jong Actief focuses on young people who are already in care or are at risk of falling into it. With Jong Actief, we highlight the possibilities that always exist. With Jong Actief, we work towards success. Experiencing success is important for personal motivation; it makes you strong and confident to face challenges. Jong Actief makes you strong, wants to move forward, and constantly develop for the future.
In various areas, young people can enrich themselves with the knowledge and experience of volunteers, interns, and coaches who work at Jong Actief. Together with a great group of people, success is built!
Jong Actief sees that every unique young person can play a role in society in their own way, where every young person has a “play space” to experiment. The goal of this play space in experimenting is to develop their own identity. At Jong Actief, everyone is treated as an equal and unique individual.
