Your skin has a great impact on how you feel and how you think you are seen. That is why the Skin Fund wants to create love for the skin in everyone. When is our mission successful? The Skin Fund focuses on preventing skin conditions, better care for people with a skin condition, and acceptance of skin that is ‘different’.
Some skin conditions can be prevented. Care and protection of the skin are important here and form the basis of our prevention activities. Improving care is an important goal of the Skin Fund. We believe skin care should go beyond just the (para)medical treatment of the skin. To achieve this, we want to increase knowledge among skin professionals about the impact on quality of life with a skin condition. Finally, we focus on acceptance of skin that is ‘different’. We work to ensure everyone accepts their own skin and that of others, healthy or not.
