As an animal lover, you want to help the animals that need help the most.
Fortunately, the Netherlands is almost the only country in the world without stray dogs. While here hundreds of animal ambulances drive around, there is an animal police, an animal emergency line (tel. 144) and almost every city has its own neat and subsidized shelter.
How different is that in other countries? There, stray animals are often severely abused and often lie injured on the street for a long time.
Fortunately, there are also animal lovers in those countries who want to lovingly help these animals. But they often do not have the financial means for this.
The ANBI-recognized foundation Dierennood (founded in 2009) tracks them down and after a strict selection they look at who can best use which help.

Brands pay us a commission when you shop through ShopDonation. We turn that commission into a donation for your chosen cause.
How much will the donation be?
That depends on the commission of the brand: you see the percentage or fixed amount below every shop logo.
Together we redistribute commercial profits to social projects, one purchase at a time!
No. You pay exactly the same amount as if you went directly to the store's website.
The brands reward us every time we bring a customer to their website, and we share the commission we receive as a donation to your chosen cause. The funds come from their marketing budget, similar to what they'd spend on online ads.
Brands don't pay anything upfront; they only pay a commission after a purchase has been made. Each brand sets its own commission rate.
Yes! We negotiate exclusive deals, promotions and discounts with our affiliated brands, so you can even save money by shopping through ShopDonation.
No. We never sell your data. Webshops, causes and other users never get your name or email address from us. We only share anonymous data with a few essential services, such as Google Analytics.
Many popular brands work with us, including Booking, Media Markt, Jumbo and many more. See the full list on our shop overview page.
Yes. You earn the same loyalty points as when you go to the webshop directly.
Both shoppers and causes can see all transactions and track funds raised in real time. Each donation shows exactly when it has been paid out. Try it yourself: make a purchase and you'll receive a confirmation of your donation. Read more about our transparency.
Yes, we are currently the only provider of this service in multiple countries, so causes can receive recurring funds from supporters worldwide. See which countries are live on shopdonation.org.
On average per month:
Our top shoppers have raised more than CHF 2,000 for their cause in a few years.
Causes can disable any brand for their shoppers. Ask the cause to disable the brand; it will then no longer appear when that cause is selected.
A few cookies show us how the site is used, so we can keep making it better. Even if you only allow necessary cookies, your purchases still generate free donations.
Needed for the site to work and to register your purchase, so your cause receives the donation.
